Job Responsibilities of Mechanical Technician

• Installs maintains, Repairs and overhaul the air conditioning, ventilation, heating and refrigeration system.

• Conducts diagnoses on system operating conditions using central controls or energy management panels.

• Performs frequent testing of water treatment to determine the chemical balance in chiller system.

• Carries out the electrical and plumbing duties as required by air conditioning maintenance, repairs and installation.

• Manages, Trains and orients a team of 30 technicians who work through a 7day 24 hours schedule.

• Attends to all concerns and issues cascaded by building tenants and personnel.

• Tasked to manage the HVAC equipment for the purpose of extending its useful life while reducing its overall life cycle cost.

• Performed regular and routine hands on inspection of HVAC system equipment to identify potential problems and maintenance issue.

• Implemented corrective courses of action to repair problems and issues with in a realistic time.

• Cleaned all air conditioning and cooling units so that all equipment’s will be assured of working correctly and safely.

Job Responsibilities of Mechanical Assistant

• Checking the Maintenance schedule & procedure and Stock over sheet for maintenance like Equipment’s, Ducting, piping fans for HVAC, Fire fighting & water supply and drainage system.

• Carryout the trouble shooting plans on weekly basis.

• Allocate the manpower in proper location and give them instruction to do the work safely.

• Supervising the each stage of Maintenance work is going on as per the preventive maintenance schedule.

• Monitoring the HVAC systems likes equipment’s Duct and its fittings, dampers, access door, vav, retaining angles and pipe fittings, sleeves, insulation roll, Fire sealant regularly and give the report to the supervisor and Engineer.

• checking the machines, ducting and piping as per schedule and drawing, if any troubleshooting on site, consult with engineer and make as week schedule with the approval of engineer and client.

• Co ordinate with electrical team to avoid maintenance issue.

• Storing the materials and fittings in proper location.

• Generate daily work and weekly work progress report.

• Preparing Inspection Checklist & Preventive maintenance documents as per superior order.

• Routinely checking the HVAC/Pluming /Fire Fighting system & chilled water piping, FCU, FAHU/AHU/HRU, Chillers and fans working smooth and properly.

• Maintaining the water level on tanks and checking the refrigerant on all system and make up.
