WORK EXPERIENCE
Marriot, Wardman Park – Banquet Captain (1998 – 2021)
• Responsible for the execution of events from beginning to end.
• Successfully delivered 200+ major events including Presidential Inauguration Ball, Industry conferences, trade shows, weddings, political ceremonies, and other various high-volume events.
• Communicated with venue personnel to coordinate event logistics for events 200 – 10,000 guests.
• Organized and executed set up plus break down of the specific event and location, by delegating duties and coordinating with the employees assigned to the event.
• Managed pre-function meetings with servers to ensure smooth, efficient service, assigns server stations and coordinates the timing of courses with the kitchen personnel.
