Area of Expertise:
Manage Master Schedule of Inventory control Activities, Materials Cost Control activities and report Statistic to Management and board on monthly basis. Issues reports for internal and external Clients, Main Contactors as and when required. Conduct a market survey seeking the statements from different stores on the materials present on the agenda. Contribute towards reducing Inventory Cost by control the Ordering Cost, Holding Cost of high valued components, raw materials and etc. Advised and coordinated with other departments throughout the company regarding warehousing activities and potential inventory cost control. To contribute full effort for improving the organization’s profit through purchasing activities.
Responsibilities :
Preparation and planning of materials requirement schedule (Master Schedule File) with planning, procurement and user department.
Keep the various inventory stocks (like pipe line inventory, buffer inventory, decouple inventory) to avoid interruption in production.
Monitoring and maintaining the reorder level, maximum and minimum stock level of materials.
Stock checking between every some periodic period (like every 2 months once)
Minimize the materials wastage with implementation of Standardization, simplification, Varity reduction.
Controlling and monitoring the abnormal consumption, abnormal stock level of expensive materials and highlighting the same to management
Follow up with supplier for materials supply and expedite the supply with time of requirement.
Ensure the receiving the quality materials in right place at right time.
Preparation of Goods receipts note, Issue note, transfer note and other store related works in ERP, SAP online software.
Arrange for inspection for receiving materials.
If any discrepancies and poor quality in received materials, returning materials to supplier with aid of purchase department.
Keep the records of Purchase orders, Goods delivery note and Issuing indent, Transfer note to user departments and etc.
Submitting the Stock report to management in every month end.
Monitoring and controlling the surplus, obsolescence and scrap and highlighting the same to management
Keep the ISO records related to Warehouse Department.
Arranging transport for fetching the materials and feeding the materials to User Department.
Facing the Internal Audit by Management.
Inventory Cost Control Management
Preparation of Master Schedule File for materials requirement co-ordination with Production department, planning department and etc.
Maintain various types of inventories such as Pipe line Inventories, Buffer Inventories, Decouple inventories and etc. to avoid unnecessary interruptions in production process.
Analysis the Price Forecast, Demand Forecast, Seasonal Variation while purchasing expensive Materials.
Minimizing the Annual Carrying Cost of “A” class materials by ordering them for current requirements.
Minimizing the Annual Ordering Cost of “B” & “C” class materials by ordering them bulky for future requirements.
Gaining advantage of Quantity Discounts, Trade Discounts, Seasonal Discounts and etc. by purchasing the materials massive from manufacturer directly.
Reduction of Inventory Cost with implementation of Standardization, Simplification, Varity Reduction and etc.
Analysis of Price Fluctuating in various market conditions, Trend Changing in order to purchase valuable components by using Hand to Mouth buying method, future buying method.
Expedited purchase orders by identifying and resolving vendor or shipment problems.
Controlling the Materials Issuing Procedure in order to Control the abnormal consumptions.
Control the Local Purchases which involves the risks of uneconomical conditions.
Implementing the Ordering procedure of Two Bin Procedure, Quantitative Procedure, Periodic Procedure.
Stores Management
