OBJECTIVE To obtain a position that utilizes my knowledge in teaching and my ability to
work with people in different scenarios or areas such as teaching a new language. Furthermore, I am interested in a position where I can gain more experience, a better opportunity to expand my knowledge, and put in practice what I had learn during my preparation towards obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish Single Subject (teaching), and a master degree’s in Spanish American Literature at San Diego State University.

During my current and previous jobs, I have developed different skills that provide me with the experience required for a teaching position. I gained enough experience to be able to plan and organize for appropriate instruction depending on the developmental stages of a vast diversity of students. I am able to utilize a variety of instructional techniques to meet the individual needs of students. I know how to perform wisely classroom management techniques to conduct to an effective classroom climate. I am prepared to instill pride and self-confidence in students. I perform supervisory duties as assigned by management or personal criteria depending on the circumstances. I prepare lessons, exams, and needed materials when necessary. I observe and control behavior of students in the classroom, establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others, and operate standard office and classroom equipment. I efficiently maintain routine records.
