Control Room Operator: Albemarle Catalyst: A FCC (fluid cracking catalyst) petrochemical plant. We started with Honeywell DCS, moved to Wonderware DCS and then finally the Delta V DCS system and the Delta R&S View Logic systems; KIOR was a biomass to oil plant where Siemens DCS was used; Zolon Tech/New Power was a CO2 supercritical combined cycle plant which used Ovation by Emerson DCS; Drawbridge was a cryogenic plant which used Delta V; and Quanta was an ECAT facility for FCC which used Delta V. All DCS systems were used to supervise and manipulate control of flow of product to various machinery and assess functionality and efficiency
Commissioning: Facilities by enforcing the ‘prepare to operate’ work strategy; synchronizing the turnover packages with the commissioning/operations schedule; evaluating progress; writing work orders, permit coordinator; developing and executing the punch list; P&ID verification; P&ID walk down; writing LOTO and other work permits; quality assurance and control; and maintained a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of current operational status and inspection of equipment throughout the plant to adhere to the safety of the plants and its’ personnel.
Supervision: Managed the start-up of GTL and Ethanol Facilities by preparing its system for operation including but not limited to plant stabilization; troubleshooting the process and the equipment; continuation of training; establishing reductive & preventative maintenance; writing general work/safety, confined space, hot work electrical, LOTO and excavation permits; overseeing the operations of the scrubber, chiller, distillation tower, mol sieves, treaters, mixers, fermenters and numerous other areas of responsibilities
