ROLE:-

Performed the Complete maintenance of Equipment’s and accessories related to manufacturing of Steel like Hydraulic units, furnace related, material feeding related, Continues casting machine and Fume extraction system equipment’s.

Providing assistance to the team towards achieving the fulfilment of equipment maintenance in liquid steel and continuous casting along with the auxiliary systems

Led a team of maintenance personnel and managed:

Providing a proper work procedure for all maintenance activities, to ensure a safe work condition and procedure.

Implementing proper time based maintenance and achievement of 100% codification and maintenance of spare with full compliance report.

Achieved 20% maintenance cost reduction through counter-driven maintenance such as failure analysis, continuous improvement and preventive and periodic maintenance

Implemented predictive maintenance (vibration & frequency analyses) for rotating equipment’s such as pumps, fans

ROLE:-

Assist the Pre-Qualification of potential bidders/contractors to ensure that only "approved contractors" work at the sites

Support End User in creating the SOW

Arrange and jointly review the Bid Offers alongside the End User and Safety department

Support Area Owner / End User to ensure the Contractor has welfare facilities

Arrange and run the pre-job meetings alongside the relevant end user, SCM, Safety and Contractor

Liaise with End User, SCM & HSD to ensure the site specific induction is completed

Maintain a file for the Contractors working in their specific area (Competency checks, HSE File)

Support End User in preparation of JMS & JSA for Permit-to-Work (PTW).

Ensure Contractors are reporting to him each day and managing any issues that arise (change of manpower, equipment issues, unauthorized jobs, etc.)

Monitor and audit the ongoing work for Safety, Cost, Schedule, Quality

Ensure the Contractor safety feedback form has been completed

Liaise and closely work with existing Contractors to ensure smooth operation

Meets all Safety, Health and Environmental requirements including obtaining permits, providing Material Safety Data Sheets, monitoring environmental controls, etc.

Report on the performance of the Contractors on a frequent basis
