Founder of second non-profit foundation that grants the final wishes of seniors with less than one year to live. ( www.elderly wish.org was founded in 1998,) with my mothers inheritance and I was involved until 2006. Moved to Chico, CA and started a second foundation to be closer to my family. The second foundation was started in San Antonio, where Geoff Morgan, CPA and expert in non-profit federal law became our treasurer. We have been diligently working to promote this foundation. With my mothers inheritance, this foundation was born in her honor. It’s mission with our original Board of Directors and Mentors was and still is to grant a wish for the elderly that have a terminal disease, with less than a year to live. I moved to another city in 2006 to raise my daughters. Up until that time, I stayed involved on the Board of Directors with yearly changes in the Boards leadership. This Board voted to keep the foundation based in Contra Costa County. The second foundation of this type, is still in its grassroots stage but is a ‘national’ foundation. Accomplishments
