The skills I have accumulated over the years have given me an ‘excellence’ in ‘reading people,’ knowing how to speak and communicate to retain their trust as clients. Manicuring in a professional ambiance is my forte. I am very fond of the elderly population and work well with them. I’m a 'team associate,' mature, well presented and articulate. My passion for creativity and sales compliments my skills. I have 14 years experience caring for the elderly in their homes. I have experience with Dementia and Alzheimers clients. My peaceful nature is what most families that hire me like. Authorized to work in the US for any employer

Assistant to Director of Global Marketing
Eco-Shell, Inc - Corning, CA
January 2009 to March 2011
This was a fabulous job and I have an excellent letter of reference from Helen Cantrell, Director of Marketing. Duties were to 'dive in' and be creative, selling 'walnut shell' in 30 different sizes to global companies and R&D divisions with 'sample sizes' for 'trials,' creating 'green’ usage with walnut shell biodegradable media. I created many new accounts globally and enjoyed working with company existing accounts as well. Sales and Marketing come naturally to me. I enjoyed working with a product' that gave large corporate accounts tax breaks, and small start ups as well. The creative opportunity to work independently with R&D departments world wide was a challenge that made every work day a new challenge. Other responsibilities were: preparing sample sizes to send for trials from 1 lb to 2 tons; securing new business through global websites; collections of delinquent accounts and assisting the Marketing Director in any way I could. (I have an excellent letter of reference from this ‘Global company.)
Executive Sales Consultant
Black Diamond Living Magazine - Antioch, CA
August 2003 to August 2006
This position was to sell ads in a 'high end' magazine throughout the East Bay of CA. I sold via phone, computer and in the field. It was a highly successful magazine and went on to secure business with the Antioch, Brentwood and Pittsburg 'Chambers of Commerce' to publish their annual membership and community magazines. We sold and designed ads with differential sizes and 'population contact' for each magazine for three years
Founder
An Elderly Wish Foundation (www.elderlywish.org) - Antioch, CA December 1998 to August 2006
Responsibilities
With my mothers inheritance, this foundation was born in her honor. It’s mission with our original Board of Directors and Mentors was and still is to grant a wish for the elderly that have a terminal disease, with less than a year to live. This Board voted to keep the foundation based in Contra Costa County. The second foundation of this type, is still in its grassroots stage but is a ‘national’ foundation. Accomplishments

I have cared for elderly with dementia in the East Bay, CA for over 1 year and presently ‘indepently contractable.” I’ve cared in Chico, CA for two elderly people through the State program for one years experience through IHSS. I am FBI cleared and fingerprinted with a current TB test. Also, I cared 8 years for a woman with Multiple Melanoma until she passed. These jobs were fulfilling to me and those I cared for. I am always requested ‘back’ for more involvement because of my variable ‘communication skills’ with all ‘calibe’ & nationalities.
