Advise Mitrovica North, Zubin Potok, Leposavic and other Serbian speaking municipalities to implement and monitor reform objectives, including support to:
draft, approve and prepare the implementation of solid waste management plans based on spatial, financial, technical and process data collection and based on the participatory developed needs of citizens, particularly women and marginalised groups;
develop, approve and implement socially sensible, legally viable and feasible waste tariffs and fee collection mechanisms, based on calculated costs of service provision;
support to implement a viable operator model based on a rational analysis of options, feasibility and implications; as well as contractual agreement making;
pilot the sustainable expansion of solid waste services, based on reliable data and a detailed financial and operational plan;
pilot the sustainable reorganisation of services and (eventually) sorting of solid waste in the city centres of both municipalities, based on reliable data and a detailed financial and operational plan, incorporating the private and informal sector;
Ad-hoc demands from the city governments or other partners regarding urban management and project related issues.
Advise the waste management companies to implement and monitor reform objectives, including support to: design and enhance standardised processes in all operational unit, based on an analysis of the gaps, participatory process mapping and consensus making
puts together an overview of project/programme activities, deadlines etc. for respective municipalities and presents this regularly at team meetings
supports project monitoring and updates information on project progress, documents and reports regularly on the status of results
assists with recording and documenting the results of all activities
assists with planning, coordinating and documenting meetings, workshops, seminars and other project activities in respective municipalities, with a focus on technical aspects

As the advisor of the northern municipalities, advisor have significant more responsibility for the waste development, particularly when it comes to responding to demands from the EU to the country.
Overall responsibility in SMS regarding technical and operational solid waste activities, including:
Support colleagues and partners to plan and implement solid waste collection projects;
support colleagues and partners to plan and implement sorting and recycling projects;
Quality control of project plans in close collaboration with international and/or local experts.
Being the contact and cooperation person for following actors/partners especially for other GIZ projects -Mitrovica North, Zubin Potok, Leposavic and other Serbian speaking municipalities;
Waste management companies within the municipalities assigned for;
EU, USAID, UNDP and other partners in the SWM field;

KfW fund 2 million eur that was provided for the purpose of energy efficiency and renewable energy. I also wanted to stress that the fund was strictly monitored by KfW, implementation has been successful, which confirms that we have fulfilled the goal of which this fund was intended, and that is that we teach people about energy efficiency, and the other we have reduced energy consumption by 20%.
