Dear Human Resources Professional:
Please accept this letter along with the attached resume in support of my interest in a position with your organization as a Production Supervisor. My resume outlines an extensive background in Production Management, Lean Manufacturing, and Process Improvement. Over the past 8 years I worked for the following companies. Benteler Automotive, Federal Mogul Corp., Ventra Automotive, Robert Bosch LLC and Tenneco Automotive. I was both an Operations Supervisor and Operation Manager during this time. For 18 years, I was a Supervisor for Steelcase, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I was laid off due to unexpected cost reduction measures. I returned to college and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University in 2013.
I offer technical expertise, enthusiasm, and commitment. I was trained and Certified in Lean Manufacturing by the University of Michigan and the University of Tennessee and have always been self-motivated and eager for new challenges. I have a reputation as a disciplined, highly productive, and solutions-oriented leader, and have experience supervising operations of up to 150 employees, while ensuring efficiency and maximizing production.
I would welcome an opportunity to share my qualifications and successes in greater detail with you in a personal interview so that we can discuss how I can contribute to your team. I look forward to our conversation and hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
