• Managing purchase of materials & maintaining of minimum inventory. Building material receipt & maintaining records (Steel & cement receipts, assets i.e. machinery, office furniture, electrical & lab items, scrap disposal of steel & other materials).

• Passing the bills of suppliers & undertaking physical verification of the stock.

• Coordinating with Accounts, Procurement, Production and Transport Department.

• Processing necessary material requisitions, obtaining quotations, reviewing specifications, negotiating best prices & terms, to prepare LPO, arranging materials delivery, checking materials quality and quantity comparing with LPO and approved sample.

• Shipping the cancelled and damaged items back to vendors as appropriate.

• Resolving discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and surplus property.

• Serving as lead worker to other classified staff on the area.

• Implementation; managing the allocation of space/layout within the store to ensure a balanced and profitable product range.

• Independently handling material arrangements up to finalization with Accounts and Auditors.

• Monitoring the competitor’s strategy and analyzing the market in terms, commercial development

& price; building a strong management team that works well together and is capable of delivering the required level of performance.

• Maintaining the stock & daily issue register, monthly stock statement and Quarterly store verifications, total material requisition. Handling the retail stores with proper reports and deliver timely and other work are listed here.

• Getting materials requisition from Project site supervisors with approval from project manager.

• Calculating the correct quantity required.

• Preparing the requisitions.

• Coordinating with purchase dept. for local purchase orders .

• Documentation related to local purchase Order.

• Arranging materials delivery.

• Material loading & unloading. Giving Goods Receipt to Transporter.

• Documentation after material receipt.

• Issuing materials, maintaining the Bin card system and managing store inventory.
