National Weather Service - Silver Spring, MD

GIS focal point for the Marine, Tropical, and Tsunami Services Branch. Two years' experience using ArcMap Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS. Developed a GIS beach hazards database of weather-related fatalities and have created GIS maps for use in analyzing location and demographic information. The data has been used to improve messaging of risk behavior. Developed a GIS Dashboard which enables public users to integrate the database. Developed an interactive GIS web map for use by the National Weather Service and the United States Coast Guard for use during emergency situations.
