Additional Information
Whilst at school, I originally did a work placement at the local stables, I enjoyed it so much I volunteered to work weekends and school holidays, helping to clean out the stables. Through my dedication and hardwork, I was offered a part time job and since then learnt a lot of new skills, such as grooming and exercising the horses. I was soon given the responsibility of leading groups of riders on long treks. I have a very flexible approach to work as I have worked weekends and evenings for a while so I am very used to it.
I am also very motivated, after leaving school, I attended Borders College, which involved a 3hr round trip using public transport. Despite this journey my attendance was excellent, it has also helped me develop excellent organisational skills, ensuring that I was never for the buses or trains.
