Working as an Aircraft Technician in Emirates Airline Engineering department, Report directly to Shift Manager Head of Base Heavy Engineering Hangar on a day-to-day maintenance projects, plans and issues on ‘C’ check and ‘A’ checks. My job responsibilities include but not limited to the following.

• Aircraft Component replacement and other maintenance activities as directed by immediate supervisor including the ability to obtain and understand Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Part Catalogue (IPC), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) or other approved documentation required to carry out maintenance tasks and Modifications.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft inspection and examine all aircraft components including engine, APU, hydraulic system, electrical system, fuselage, pneumatic system, oxygen system, landing gear.

• Perform fault diagnosis, functional testing and fault rectification of aircraft mechanical and electrical systems,

• Carrying out routine aircraft, engine and electrical component servicing/maintenance, System and component Modifications compliant to manufacturers procedures whilst observing all safety procedures for fluid replenishment, aircraft refueling, aircraft systems charging/servicing as required.

• Attend all meetings, keep up to date with changes in Emirates Engineering and procedures, and ensure all work completed are done so in a safe and efficient manner.

• Participating and promoting in creating a safety culture in an effort to minimize accidents and highlight deficiencies/failures that can lead to such accidents. Ensure all work locations are kept clean and excellent housekeeping conditions are maintained. This includes being aware of communicating safety shortfalls.

• Perform documentation and recording of all work carried out.

• Use precision measuring instruments to Perform Leak checks and functional checks of aircraft pneumatic system, fire system, electrical system, hydraulic system, air-conditioning, oxygen system, flight control surfaces.

Pakistan international Airline Engineering, Base Maintenance, Karachi, Pakistan As a Senior Aircraft technician, my job role was to report to aircraft Engineer and deputy chief engineer of Base maintenance. My job responsibilities include but not limited to the following.

• Planned and organized maintenance activities as Sr technician, working closely with technicians providing administrative and technical guidance to meet inspection deadlines while adhering to safety procedures.

• Performed maintenance on 747-200/300, A-310, A300, ATR-42 aircraft including engines, electrical system, temperature control system, hydraulic system, communication system, pneumatic system and instrument systems in accordance with specified manuals, procedures and CAA regulations.

• Removal and installation engines, wing assemblies, wiring systems, hydraulic systems, brakes systems, electronic operating-systems, and interior parts, control surfaces like ailerons, flaps, and vertical stabilizers.

• Fault diagnosis and rectification on all mechanical and electrical system include engine, hydraulic, fuel systems, flying controls and cabin.

• Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

Airblue Engineering, Jinnah international airport, Karachi, Pakistan As an Aircraft Jr technician, my job role was to report to Sr technician and aircraft Engineer and carrying out aircraft arrival and departure, daily checks, weekly checks, and ‘A’ checks.
