Restructured the EHS organization at Coromandel Fertiliser business in 2019 to optimize resources and effectively manage the management systems. This included creating new positions for process safety & permit officers, establishing Environment Cell and bringing Fire / Emergency response team under EHS function. Developed and rolled out E-Permit to Work System for Fertiliser business Feb 2021, to enhance the safety control and bring in traceability and transparency.

Implemented Enablers- 5 new elements for Process Safety Management for Fertilizer business to drive, monitor and measure the effective performance.

Rationalized the outcomes from safety culture survey through HSL, UK and developed a program to effectively manage the safety culture at Coromandel by adopting Safe Start program for behavioural improvement, optimization & unification of EHS procedures and introducing Life Saving Rules & Consequence management system. Enhanced the environmental sustainability and compliance program at coromandel by enhancing green coverage by planting 70000 saplings, entering into plastic waste management agreement, developing 17 acres of HDPE lined gypsum pond and upgrading OCEMS.

Member of CII working Committee on Environmental Sustainability task force 2019-20 and 2020-21 and contributed in providing technical inputs for ambient air quality management and water conservation studies.
