Fuel system Packaging, Design and Modification

The project involved design, development & validation of Fuel Tanks, Fuel Systems, and Exhaust Systems based on packaging constraints for new products. It also entailed Digital to actual monitoring of critical clearances, assembly & serviceability issues on Prototype vehicles, among other requirements.

Responsibilities

Responsible for Fuel System Packaging as per pro piping in Vehicle.

Gained knowledge of following regulations and standards:

IS: 12056, FMVSS 301, AIS: 033 for fuel system.

SAE standards –Fuel system.

Prepared DFMEA, DFA, DFM and DFS document for Fuel system Worked on operator station in JDTCI, Pune on deputation basis through Atlantis Lab Pvt. Ltd. from Jan 08 to OCT 10

PROJECT:

Tiltable steering Front Cover& assembly

Project involved creation of 3d model, sub assemblies, main assemblies, drawings for tiltable steering for mid HP Tractors.

Concept for front cowl cover, rubber boot steering cover

Detailed quality check for proper modeling & drafting methodology, GD&T Support for Lower Frame Assembly of 330 Ton Excavator:

Project involved creation of 3d model, sub assemblies, main assemblies, pro piping & drawings for an existing 330 ton excavator.

Autocad 2D drawing was used as inputs, Modeling & detailing of components & assy. as per JD standards.

Detail quality check for proper modeling & drafting methodology, GD&T & welding symbols. Responsibilities :

Following the modeling guidelines & standards, Creation of project Overviews, identifying the products & segregating as groups. Effort estimation, scheduling, modeling detailing quality checking & project coordination. Creation of family tables & part management. Modification of parts as per customer feedback. Identifying & resolving issues like assy. Interference, BOM mismatching.
