Planning and effecting preventive maintenance schedules of various machineries and instruments to increase machine up time and equipment reliability.

Proactively identify areas of potential breakdowns thru a checklist-based system and take corrective actions / technologically upgrading of the obsolete Machines. Equipment or system purview includes

HT Switch yards, Transformers, DG Sets.

Distribution Panels, Circuit breakers, switchgears.

Earthing systems, lighting protection and surge protection systems.

Pumps, motors, compressors.

Illumination systems-High mast tower, street and Office lighting etc. Key Responsibility

Preparation of Safe Control of operation (SCO) and Safe operating procedures (SOP).

Develop Systems and procedures for the upkeep of all assets of Electrical in line with AIMS (Asset Integrity Management System) and HSSE Management including concepts like KPI’s and hazardous waste management etc. to meet ISO and OHSAS requirements.

Ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.

Conduct safety inspections, Occupational health surveys, and surveillance and field auditing for compliance.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with BG HSSE systems, risk register, hazard-near miss reporting, observation reporting, safety interventions and Work Permit systems.
