I started as a laborer but by the time I resigned I was promoted to equipment operator. As a laborer I performed construction work, clearing fences, throwing riprap, picking up rocks, and burning brush piles. My duties as an equipment operator included operating a skid steer, clearing land with a mulcher, moving piles of dirt & rock, and moving brush piles & logs with a claw. As well as running a dozer to clear land and pushing brush piles.
