(WAP) to reduce energy demand and subsequent costs for low-income households while ensuring the home health and safety. It is the nation’s single largest residential whole-house energy efficiency program.
As a formally trained energy auditor, evaluated homes to personally prescribe and approve WAP-funded improvements. Eligible appliances included, but were not limited to: solar thermal systems, heat pump water heaters, Energy Star appliances and lighting.
