Guest Experience Manager - Catering and Facilities Manager

●Directly supervise a team of 50+ convention/facilities team members. Responsible for hiring, training, discipline, communication, performance management, retention, and department administration

●Responsible for equipment inventory, coordination of conference room repairs and vendors’ relationships.

●Responsible for all vendors communications and internal departments communication distribution and planning for all events and conference planning. Coordination and communication of operating vendors/departments convention load in/out and conference set up to ensure smooth service delivery and safety procedures are followed.

●Developed and implemented new Dock Master position profile and responsibilities for the Coronado Hotel Facility and Convention Center .

●Partnered with the Guest Show team on safety inspections and show ready evaluation for all convention rooms, front of house and back of house spaces.

●Developed a Pre and Post event walk through for exhibit companies and vendors, to ensure review and documentation of damages with proper cost allocation for repairs charged to events accounts.

●Oversees Prop room and use of props, in addition to purchasing new props. Assist with set up.

●Worked closely with Engineering to resolve any manor of facility repairs inside and outside of the Convention Center. Reviewed reports to ensure completion, and justify all action items have a completion date.

●Member of the Safety Committee which includes walking entire resort with General Manager and Safety Liaison peers to resolve any Safety challenge. With specific oversight to Air Walls, Convention Rooms, Loading Docks, Kitchen, and Guest and cast walkways.
