After graduating from the University of Limpopo I had an opportunity to be part of an
internship presented by Siyanqoba where we place under a car dealership (BB MOTORS-
NISSAN) to gain an experience in a demanding job environment. The experience has taught
me how to manage the pressures and demands of different departments from Sales,
Workshop, tracker and parts.
The following criteria’s in which the internship was based:
Interaction with different employees.
Interaction with customers.
Problem solving.
Ability to make a sale.
After completion of the internship I was then given an opportunity to be part of the company
as a Parts Clerk
APRIL 2019 – OCTOBER 2020 PARTS ADMIN CLERK
April 2019 I started my role as a Parts clerk for a year and a few months in the parts
departments where I had acquired knowledge and experience for motors parts and admin
for the department.
Duties
Ordering parts of all BB group brands.
Analyse and resolve all parts issues and monitor all requests.
Monitor and correct invoices if required and issue parts for technicians.
Administer and maintain stock of all parts.
Maintain inventory of all stock delivered items and prepare appropriate purchase
orders as per requirement and remove all obsolete supplies from inventory and
perform returns on parts for credit.
Administer and maintain parts inventory for assign locations.
Manage warranty part return from customer and processes all receipts and invoices
received from suppliers.
Perform physical count of all inventory
Resolve customer inquiries.
Process customer payments and receipts for payments
Banking
Create invoices and quotations
OCTOBER 2010 – JUNE 2021 CASH OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Post lockdown I was promoted from being a parts Clerk to cash office administrator where I
had further expanded my knowledge experience with regards to accounts under sales and
accounts department.
Duties
Retrieve cash &count cash receipts from the business day for the BB groups in
Tzaneen (Nissan, UD, Mahindra, FORD and Mazda).
Prepare a deposit
Deliver each validated deposit slip to the reconciler
Enter transactions into accounts receivable, cash register or cash receipts journal.
Responsible for Company’s petty cash accounts.
Posting of all cash transactions relation to all the departments and companies.
Vehicle postings.
