Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide an expert advice in HSE matters.

• Updating, communicating, and promoting the Company's HSE Management System, Safety Procedures, and Emergency Procedures.

• Carrying out risk assessments on all Company’s installations / operations Etc.

• Assisting while performing H & S policy and ensure that it is being periodically reviewed.

• Preparing for HSE audits to ensure adherence to Company's established Safety standards and code of practice; initiation of immediate action for enhanced compliance of HSE performance.

• Reviewing HSE performance of Project Site / Activities, reviewing site-specific HSE needs of plans, preparation.

• Preparing and maintaining of safety related document to demonstrate conformity and compliance, to HSE policy and procedures.

• Keeping all records up to date on accidents, Incidents near misses, Injury illness or any other apparent trends.

• Conducts safety meeting with other Sub contractor’s safety officers and promoting safety aspects.

• Conducting inspection of site with respect to HSE Auditing requirements.

• Preparing accident / incident report, through investigation & analysis and making recommendation for corrective action.

• Assisting Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, Foreman’s on accident investigations.

• Identifying opportunities for improvement and liaising with the Local authorities/ External agencies on HSE issues.

• Monitoring compliance with the applicable laws and regulations and fulfilled adherence to statutory norms providing assurance to the management.

• Monitoring new team members, and providing orientation training.

• Coordinating the company HSE activities on site and managed and keeping up to date on HSE matters.

• Supervising the periodical HSE audits of site including sub-contractors and monitoring project HSE performance by evaluating HSE statistics.

• Developing the safety culture in the organization and setting personal examples as an H & S professional.

• Intervene when he or she came across on unsafe acts / Unsafe conditions.

• Ensuring that all employees adhere to safe work norms and follow the company policy.

• Organising and attending safety meetings with client and other contractors.
