Duties Major Accountabilities

-Ensure plate coating is done according to the production schedule;

-Responsible for the entire process and the operation of the equipment;

-Retrieve, save and analyse data from the Oysterbay vision system;

-Complete all relevant documentation completely, accurately, legibly and timeously.

-Responsible for plate inspection process and flow wrapping process;

-Identify improvements required in the process or procedures and assist with implementation as per the change management system;

-Ensure that the Lab conforms to audits, environmental and GMP regulations as they apply to the department;

-Ensure training of all staff assisting in various plate coating processes;

-Participate in internal investigations and customer complaints when required;

-Cost containment in regards to waste, plate rejection and batch failure due to process not being followed;

-Ensure products are manufactured to specification and quality;

-Perform final release testing as per manufacturing plan and site procedure;

-Ensure that any non-conformance or out of specification results are reported;

-Ensure that post issue stability testing is performed as per the relevant program and procedures;

-Ensure QA retained kits are kept and controlled per procedure;

-Testing of rare reagents and raw materials for suitability;

-Maintaining the laboratory area meets ISO, GMP and safety requirements;

-Ensure that the Lab conforms to audits, environmental and GMP regulations as they apply to the department
