PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

July 2008 – June 21, 2019: Customer service representative, Conduent/Xerox, Lexington, Ky. Role centers on calculating taxes and adjusting accounts for incorrectly billed customers' Sprint telephone accounts. Work with 50 to 60 customers via telephone daily on a nationwide basis. January 2016 – June 21, 2019: Team Lead; senior Customer service representative, Conduent/Xerox, Lexington, KY.

October 2007 - July 2008: Primary caregiver for elderly uncle. Returned to work after it was necessary for him to be placed in nursing home.

May 2006 - October 2007: Production manager, Georgetown News- Graphic, Georgetown, Ky. Oversaw production of all print products for daily newspaper and affiliated publications.

April 1999 - May 2006: Graphic design and accounting, KENTUCKY HOMES MAGAZINE (Landmark Communications), Cynthiana, Ky. Managed all areas of publishing three real estate magazines from selling of ads to delivery. Designed ads, laid out publications ranging from 20 to 136 pages and worked with camera department to deliver negatives. Distributed books in some areas and completed monthly billing for eight KENTUCKY HOMES products; handled Internet service for magazine.

June 1996 - April 1999: Varied roles, Office Teams, Lexington, Ky. In this time period, also worked as a freelance photographer with a home-operated computer print shop; taught computer classes (Basic Word, Excel, Lotus 1-2-3); and served as a substitute teacher for Harrison County school system

February 1987 - June 1996: Varied positions, Grede Perm Cast, Cynthiana, Ky. Roles included quality engineering technician, where I was responsible for supervising and coordinating duties for one full-time clerk and operated main computer system in plant for quality control; and in the processing department. In 1987, launched the Cynthiana plant's first company newspaper. Wrote articles, input copy and completed layout, and printed and prepared paper for mailing. During this time period, after participating on the Methods Study Team for two years, I attended Methods Study Leader Training in Wisconsin. In January 1991, I formed my team, which completed 10 cost-saving projects in record time - one of which was the largest cost savings in plant history.

August 1981 - February 1987: Typesetter, copy editor and proofreader, Cynthiana Publishing Co., Cynthiana, Ky. Worked on part-time basis while employed at Grede Perm Cast and then worked full time.
