Over 27 years Document Control / Administrative experience in the Oil & Gas / Construction (Civil, MEP, Plant, Smelter etc.) industry with Client / PMC / EPCM contracting companies on FEED, EPC and Construction Stages and Health / Institutional Services organizations.
Experience acquired mainly in the United Arab Emirates (15 yrs), Pakistan (7 yrs), Saudi Arabia (4 yrs) and Bahrain (1 yr).
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS (DOCUMENT CONTROL)
Implementation of Document Control Procedures using (iPasDM, SCENARIO, ACONEX, Smart Plant Foundation, PMWeb, PM+, SharePoint etc.) Electronic Data & Document Management System (EDMS).
Supervising / Maintaining / Updating / Downloading / Uploading / Registering / independently handling Project Documentation using EDMS and various site and FTPs given. Register all incoming and outgoing project general correspondence and technical documents and distribution in accordance with the procedure/matrix.
Establishing Document Control Centre for the NEW PROJECTS.
Maintain / compile project final handover dossiers, as-built.
Process and record accurately all technical documentation in accordance with the procedures and maintain Hard & Soft copy of all the deliverable / transmittal, Documents for all disciplines
Coordinating with Discipline Engineers / HODs for documents corrections etc.
Monitor / Transmit and Register COMPANY (client) / CONSULTANT comments on EPC contractor issued project documents i.e. Engineering Documents given in the EDDR, Material Approval, RFIs, Shop Drawings, WIRs, SARs, Technical Submittals, MPR, WPR, MS, VOs, etc...
Produce regular document status reports e.g. overdue / daily / weekly.
Ensure that the latest revisions of all documents produced for the projects are recorded and distributed to the concerned personnel and prevent use of superseded documents.
Maintain Excel data sheets of the Project Documentation System Generated and self-formed (if required) with mathematical formulas per the project requirement.
Preparing the DCC check list for validating completeness & correctness of Final Document
Document distribution by Transmittal System as per Document Distribution Matrix for Hard copy and Electronic Document Transfer
Making sure all documents numbering according to the Document Numbering Procedure
Accurately update information in the EDDMS (reference, cross-references & revision history)
As representative of the COMPANY (client), deal / follow up with the CONTRACTORS for the proper documentation and timely processing / submission and issue of the Engineering / construction documents for the project.
Verify the documents uploaded in the iPasDM, SPF (SmartPlant Foundation), ACONEX, PMWeb, Scenario.
Maintains expediting records, vendor records & sub-vendors records. Tracking NCR, RFC & SEQs
Preparation / Submittal / Obtain Approval of Documents e.g. MAR, PQs, Drawings, MS, QA/QC Plans, HSE Documents, PTW.
