SKILLS
- Versed in publishing through Amazon, Ingram, and ACX
- Bridge maker, I have built a strong network and I am happy and proud to say I am very skilled at building connections between other businesses and client business relationship.
- Skilled writer with the wisdom to know that you should not do it alone. Editors and other professionals are very relevant to the success of a publication, business launch, business negotiation. It is a team effort.
- Coalition building is something I enjoy learning about, thinking about strategy to get others involved and take every no as a closer step to a yes.
- Expedient learner: I listen and dive right into do doing my best.
- Experienced and hard worker. I grew up on a farm, enough said! I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, yet I also clean up nice. I can handle most any function. I am a very empathetic person and have no issue relating to the people from the cook to the King.
- Published Magazine Articles, Published Author, Blog Writer, and Teambuilder.
- Published Author, Manda Jones, Defeating My Demons, My Mental Breakdown Through Darkness to the Light
- People Person
- Leadership – I have headed book teams for renowned Denver, Colorado Attorney Michael Sawaya, The Power of Principled Inclusion. Currently working on Goodbye Shame by Nadine and Chad Copley. I lead my own book team and have built the network needed to complete that journey. Currently heading a project of mine, a Children’s Book, The Beautiful Blue Caterpillar.
- Public speaking. Call me a nerd; I enjoy it. I enjoy speaking to others and feeling that connection and feeding off that positive energy even when discussing hard or controversial subjects. I have done many virtual conversations with my readers and have been invited to speak at a Vola Sessions Retreat.
- Work ethic as I mentioned above. I grew up on a farm/ranch and there was work to do every second of the day. I learned from that to enjoy my work whether it was cutting twine out of a pick-up axel, tagging cows, or writing a book. Putting myself into something productive is something I quite enjoy. At just nine- years-old I washed dishes for my Aunt at her bar and grill. Waiting tables as I got older and then got my Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA) to make more money and sustain employment in college.
- Medical experience. I am immunocompromised and get a lot of personal contact with the medical field both in the mental health sector, holistic sector, and western medicine sector. My time as a CNA taught me much of what I know in terms of patient care or lack thereof.
