This I achieved by providing my services working as a DFO Coordinator.

DFO COORDINATOR (Deliverables for Operations) … Design and build turnover packages for Mechanical Completions.

●Using Complete It Win (PCS) to achieve expeditious Handover of Turn over Packages.

My abilities were the dedication for driving and motivating the Completions Engineers and Commissioning Engineers, to be responsible and accountable for the completion of control systems as defined by work scope and handover (per system).

1.To achieve this, we:

Developed Turnover Completion Packages (TCP) for each system and subsystem.

Validated packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance of acceptable codes, standards and regulations.

2.Implemented System Completion Processes:

To ensure effective completion, commissioning and handover.

To prepare for start-up and operation of this OPF Oil and Gas Facility.

3.Data and reporting tools:

Used a computerized, Completion Management System (CMS) for tracking and quality completion. Turnover and Completion Packages was managed using software: Thule Engineering/TCS LITE Completions Preparations and status Monitoring Reports.

4.Process:

We populated the system completions dossiers with Commissioning Test records for Instruments, Electrical, Piping/Process, HVAC, Civil/Structural and Safety.

Thereby ensuring that commissioning aspects of Mechanical completion activities were met.

Co-ordinating the closing of punch items according punch lists ‘raised’.

Signing OFF occurs in Master punch list Dossiers by Discipline Champions.

Assisting Discipline Engineers with the correct structure of punch issues, including its Status (CAT ‘A’ / CAT ‘B’) and responsibility.

5.Other responsibilities:

Also dealt with Hydro-Test Pack No’s, for associated Isometrics and Line numbers.

Work with various disciplines to ensure that punch items are being cleared.

Update of daily progress of status in Excel format including comments (Restraints).

Capture CAT ’A’ issues and Operational Deviations in the form of a Verification Certificate of Readiness (VCR) for Dossier handover from commissioning to Operations, thereby ensuring that these issues are recorded in a punch list.

Troubleshooting faults to DCS via System, Marshalling and shutdown (ESD) cabinets. Intrinsic safe input/output barriers. Did risk assessment and completed own permit to work verified and approved by operations.
