Job Title – Safety Supervisor.

.Responsibilities as HSE Officer/ Supervisor/ Advisor:-

Conducting Safety Induction Training to all employees.

Cooperation with company management and client for effective implementation of HSE inspection

Suitability of standards of Personal Protective Equipment. Potential hazard on new work activities before the commencement of work. Inspection of site equipment including machineries and tools

Carryout daily visual inspections, reporting issues and submitting an observation report to the Contractor via project O&M reporting system. Follow-up the close-out of same with Contractor.

Checking Scaffolding and working at plat form.

Preparing and Displaying Safety Posts, Circular Notice, at work site.

Monitor work activities on site to ensure compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, rules & regulations.

To guide and direct the project operation and maintenance staff in carrying out specific HSE aspects of tasks being undertaken.

Carry out daily & regular inspection of checklists & worksites to ensure integrity of the safe system of work and taking immediate corrective actions for the deviations noticed.

Perform BSA, PTW, Housekeeping, etc. audits to verify it compliance.

Attend TBT; conduct / participate in HSE Meetings / weekly walk about / audits / inspections / (daily, weekly, monthly for evaluating & assessing the hazard controls and monitor the implementation of findings on site.

Prepare / submit daily, weekly, monthly HSE progress, statistics, review meeting minute report s / develop TRA and collates / distribute all necessary information on site for discussion.

Conduct emergency evacuation exercises in coordination with the Client and discuss the learning points during post briefings.

Monitored strict compliance of “Permit to Work” system at worksite & explain the Importance of the same to the workers

Conduct HSE training programs (induction / orientation / client general safety / campaigns, etc.) detailed in matrix then evaluate the performance of participants.

Liaise with the Clients & other statutory authorities for trainings & other purpose.

Ensure that all personnel are aware of site emergency procedures and reporting of incidents / damages as per plan. Examine the causes of first-aid treatment cases.

Discuss the near miss observations and lesson learnt with the workforce. Motivate all site personnel in complying with HSE practices and improve their safety awareness.

Monitor all critical works which includes lifting operations, working inside deep trenches, etc. Assess and control the risk at work site. Inform the management on non-conformance.

Monitors Compliance with mandatory HSE standard and codes..

Conduct health, safety and environment Inspection.

Conducts Inspection of job sites, documents and reports any unsafe acts and unsafe conditions to the responsible engineer/supervisor for immediate corrective action.

Accident / incident, near miss root cause analysis and preventive measure.

Arranges for securing safety permits based on site conditions performs air monitoring for harmful or explosive substances in the work environment.
