I am currently participating as an intern in order to get experience in the field of public health. I have participated in several projects such as presenting in a podcast with a midwife to teach the community her responsibilities and the path of education needed. Responsible for maintaining the case sterile during any procedure. Prepared instruments for terminal sterilization and reset surgical suites for next procedure. Anticipate surgeons needs and handed instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures, create unconstructive operative fields by using retractors, sponges, and suction and irrigating.

Phase 1 COVID-19 Seroprevalence Project for Harris County Public Health

Mostly translated for those who do not speak English. Answered questions pertaining to COVID and about the project. During November 15-December 15, 2020.
