8/20-Present English Language Arts Teacher, Spring Grove Area Middle School

Teaching English language arts in seventh grade. Covering poetry, nonfiction, fiction, persuasive writing and engaging students in reading through independent reading and book chats.

10/14-6/20 Spanish teacher, Elizabethtown Area School District

Teaching level 1, 2 and 3 Spanish. Using the Teaching Proficiency Through Reading and Storytelling (TPRS) method to teach Spanish. Using listening, speaking, reading and writing activities to establish proficiency in the Spanish language. Promoting cultural activities such as virtual reality tours using virtual reality goggles to explore the Day of the Dead celebration.
