PLANT OPERATOR NOTES

️Coolant

Adhare to the manufactures colour code regulations.

Don't check on the coolant level by opening the radiator cap when the engine is hot.

If the expansion tank is present and functional add the coolant if its necessary when the engine is cool.

️Engine oil

Take note of the double sided dipstick and Adhare to the manufactures recommendation.

check on the colour,scent and texture of the engine oil.

Always ensure the level of the engine oil is as per the manufacture's recommendation.

️ Transmission oil.

Always refer to the manufacture's recommendation on the manner of checking the fluids.

Check on colour,texture and scent of the fluid during every check up.

️Hydrologic oil.

Always check on the level when the attachment are lowered

Ensure the fluid level is within the manufacture's recommendation.

, Check on the colour,Texture and scent of the fluid and compare to the new fluids.

️Fuel

Always ensure that the fuel tank is filled to tha brim to reduce chances of condensation during extreme cold temperatures.

Use clean fuel all the time to ensure that the engine doesn't develop complications.

Drain sediments and water in the fuel tank frequently using the drain tap provided at the bottom of the tank.

Idle the machine for 5-10 minutes for gradual engine warm up and cool down.

Inspect for visual defecta i.e.Deflated tyres, deflators,broken tracks,loose and missing nuts and bolts.

Remember to clean dirt from the operatios apartment to minimize the chances of fault.

Clean the machine after the working session.

A good operator must use all the senses to detect any problem prior to occurrence.

Check for the brake and the steering before descending a steep hill.

Drive the machine safety i.e.slowly and at a constant speed.

Always ensure that the doors and other exits are held secure and streamlined to avoid cases of injuries and damage.

Check the sorrounnding and horn to warn others.

Park the machine on a aolid level ground and lower all the hydraulic attachment.i.e. Bucket,dozer,blade, scruffier then engage parking brakes.
