Accomplishments
When I was hired in 2015 the practice was not running efficiently due to lack of educated management. I put into place new procedures on how to check in patients, schedule patients, and phone etiquette. The medical assistants were educated on the correct way to perform each job task required of them, as well as the billing department being trained on billing and follow up. Assisted the provider(s) on proper chart documentation according to CMS guidelines. Implemented two different EMR systems within a year (Athena and ECW).

When I was hired in 2011 it was for the billing position. Within months I was given the opportunity to manage the practice. During my time here I have identified billing issues and front end issues which were able to be resolved. In 2012 we converted to EMR in which I trained the staff and got the practice management portion up and running efficiently with the help of only one employee.
