Process Engineer of Production and Separation Systems for FEED and Detail Engineering Phases, the development of the project includes full topside production and processing facilities for the oil, gas and water. The Topsides production facilities have the capacity to handle for the life of field production, for more than 30 years. The crude oil production rate will be 23,850 Sm3/day (150 KBD) of oil, with a higher total liquid rate of approximately 50,000 Sm3/day (314 KBD) to accommodate the high volumes of produced water. The produced water system will be designed to treat roughly 45,000 Sm3/day (283 KBD) of produced water for overboard disposal as per regulation or possibly re-injection into the sub-surface if feasible.

Responsibilities included development of PFDs, P&IDs, Process Safety Diagrams, Material Selection Diagrams, Line List. Perform equipment, two-phase flowline sizing. Develop equipment, instrumentation data sheets, studies and system descriptions. Participate in HAZOP; this led to action items, for which we developed resolutions and incorporate into project documents. Review and comments on other departments' design documents. FEED and Detail Engineering Phases, the project is to provide the main processing and utilities systems for offshore topsides 90 KBPD of oil, 125 KBPD of total liquids, and associated gas production, including 75 MMSCFD of gas lift. Responsibilities included line sizing, PSV sizing, Control valve, RO sizing. Settle-out conditions calculation for LP and HP Compressors, P&ID drawings development, review and comments on the Vendor’s drawings.
