WORK EXPERIENCE DETAILS:

Worked as a WORK PERMIT RECEIVER with ARKAD Engineering & Construction Company, SAUDI ARABIA Since 06/09/2016 to 30/10/2019. In a SAUDI ARAMCO MEGA GAS PIPE LINE SYSTEM PROJECT known as MGS(Master Gas Pipeline System) which is 1200 kms from Yanbu to Fadhili.

Area of Works: Oil & GAS PIPELINE, PIPE STRINGING, LOWERING, WELDING, HOT WORK, CONFINED, COLD.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Be empowered in writing by their management to stop their own work and work related to the contract that they deem to be unsafe and take immediate corrective actions.

Understand the safety and health requirements of the contract — in particular Schedule D and this document — as well as the CSSP/HIP.

Communicate safety rules and standards to the contractor and subcontractor workforce.

Ensure work permit system is being executed prior to start work.

Inspect the work site daily. Report any unsafe acts/conditions to the supervisor and/or foreman. Provide recommendations to correct deficiencies and follow-up to ensure corrective actions have been taken.

Ensure that all equipment, power tools, hand tools, and safety equipment in the site are inspected and in good condition. All defective equipment and tools shall be removed from the site.

Assist construction supervisor/ foremen to conduct daily/ weekly safety tool box talk meeting.

Report any job-related injuries/illnesses, near misses, fires, motor vehicle accidents, property damage, crane and heavy equipment incidents, etc.

Participate in incident investigations, safety meetings, drills, etc., and conduct/facilitate safety training sessions.

Prepares daily and weekly site safety reports.

Ensure general safety rules are printed in languages understood by contractor and subcontractor personnel and are posted in areas where they are clearly visible.

Supports the Safety Management System (SMIS) by reporting all accident reports in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.

Shall be familiar with all company safety policies and programs.

Follow closely all safety policies and regulations.

Actively direct the company’s safety program and require all employees to comply with the safety program.

Make available and enforce the use of required safety equipment.

Counsel employees with safety related behavioral problems.

Correct unsafe conditions and or equipment as soon as possible.

Work closely with other supervisors/foremen and the Safety Coordinator as necessary.
