OBJECTIVEs

Project Fire Safety Advisor / Offshore Fire safety and loss prevention Advisor ( Fire and Life safety, Loss Prevention Specialist ) with a 23 year track record of delivering complex projects which were at crucial, high value projects through designing, development, highly engineered, construction, commissioning and testing of Projects and Process Management. Principal Accountabilities

1) Process Safety Technical Authority: Provide Process Safety technical leadership and advisory to global operations and capital projects on managing process safety risks, compliance obligations and in implementing compliant technical solutions. Act as GHSE focal point on Process Safety

2) Design and deliver Process Safety programs and solutions: Identify and provide risk-based solutions to complex process safety issues across the group using sound engineering and process safety principles, Lead and drive the development and implementation of GHSE standards, design specifications, guidelines and assurance plans & protocols, and other programs & solutions on process safety

Integration of Process Safety in capital projects: Help ensure integration of process safety throughout the life-cycle of capital projects and assure compliance

3) Provide support and advisory to businesses on process safety implementation, execution and action items closure (e.g. tools, processes, risk assessment and acceptance, training, auditing, metrics, design specifications etc.). Help develop and implement key performance indicators to track the status and performance of process safety across the business group. Lead/Participate in the GHSE audits and reviews as Process Safety SME. Develop recommendations and deliver periodic status reports on process safety progress. Lead/participate in incident investigations as nominated by GHSE

4) Provide deep functional expertise to build process safety capabilities and awareness across the group including designing and delivering specialist certified training programs on process safety (e.g. HAZOP, QRA, LOPA, Bow-ties, MOC etc.)

5) Maintain current knowledge of all associated codes and standards including legal and regulatory requirements related to process safety. Incorporate the changes in business group GHSE practices and communicate across the group

Internal & external communication:

Internal: Has regular communication with the Manager – Technical Safety and other GHSE professionals. Build strong relationships and work in close collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Projects and HSE leadership across ENOC group businesses and shared services

External: Interfaces with peer companies, contractors and vendors related to the client company projects or process safety services. Actively participate in external industry networks and serves as a key contact for supporting ENOC advocacy activities with statutory and regulatory authorities in relation to the process safety

Problem Solving: Risk-based decisions on process safety related issues and in setting HSE design requirements/specifications to optimize business value. As a Technical Authority on Process Safety, the incumbent plays a crucial role in the managing Process Safety risks and deliver optimum solutions to assure design, technical and operating integrity. Successfully resolve potential conflicts and foster win-win atmosphere with internal customers Decision Making Authority and Responsibility:

To select the optimum solution from among a wide variety of available options through selection of the most appropriate standards/codes using a risk-based approach. A high level of professional integrity is required for the incumbent .

The incumbent shall also be used as an active technical resource as and when needed to support HSE professionals across the ENOC Group and for mentoring UAE Nationals

Key Job Accountabilities ( with Project management team, Operational departments, Asset management teams and Functional group teams, Overseas liaison offices )

1.Performs review of fire protection drawings for conformance with model and local codes, as well as NFPA and interfaces to ensure appropriate fire protection systems are applied to projects and modifications.

2.Researches codes, as well as nationally recognized standards to assist in the development of alternate methods of code compliance.

3.Reviews and confirms the fire protection product specifications, fire safety studies and participate in risk assessment to ensure the appropriate level of protection against fire and explosion hazards which are appropriate and may impact on the level of emergency response and operational requirements of a facility i.e. type and amount of equipment, location of equipment, coverage, operating modes, means of isolation, redundancy etc.

4.Reviews and advises amendments to fire protection procedures based on regulatory changes, technological changes, or lessons learned from previous projects or facility modifications to enhance the current systems & practices.

5. Prepares Fire Protection Reports, discusses list of deficiencies / discrepancies with section head and closely monitors corrective actions towards its closure to ensure full compliance.

6. Ensures positive, progressive and balanced relationship with stakeholders to cascade fire Safety strategies into the plans to ensure alignment and integration including conducting training on fire protection equipment and system to relevant stakeholders.

7. Ensures buildings and facilities are inspected, complied with relevant fire safety policies & procedures and Codes & Standards; and administers the relevant data & records and close out actions aimed at reducing incident.

8. Coordinates and participates in acceptance testing and inspection of fire systems, prepares technical reports of fire code violations observed / punch list items for each tested system.

9. Develops the Inspection & Testing program for fixed & portable firefighting equipment for the facilities assigned to ensure integrity and readiness of firefighting equipment and initiates new systems integration into ITM program post final acceptance, to ensure compliance.

10. Assists the Head of Fire Protection & Prevention in the process of planning and preparation of the budget and objective setting of the section to ensure accurate budgeting and objective setting.

11. Able to Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Company Safety, Health and Environment and Quality policies, regulations and standards, all activities undertaken comply with anti – trust and competition laws and the Company firewall policies and procedures.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

1.Review of design basis for safety and Loss prevention engineering, site survey report, design calculation reports and adequacy check reports for existing nodes/facilities. Preparation of design deliverable, approvals and managing the project, providing engineering solutions to site related activities.

2.Planning & conducting site survey for brown filed projects and collecting required data to execute the projects for both onshore and offshore projects, completed safety training in H2S. Participated in pre-bid meeting, preparation of cost, time, resource and tender bid clarifications. Participating in project meetings with vendors/Tps, comment resolutions of technical deliverable and reporting weekly progress to the project manager.

3.Quality check of design documents, drawings and MTO as per company and ISO standards. Water Mist System includes Jockey Pumps, Mist Pumps, water tanks for fire water protection, Fire Fighting Systems, Firewater Deluge System. Prepare Safety, Fire Protection, Fire & Gas Detection Philosophy.

4.Firewater system design and engineering, including firewater and foam demand calculations (sizing firewater pumps, deluge valves, firewater piping), Firewater P&IDs, Deluge Nozzle Arrangement Calculations, steady state hydraulic analysis in PIPENET. Manage transient surge analysis by others.

5.Design review of Passive Fire Protection systems, including specification and PFP schedule. Prepare Hazardous Area Classification and H2S Area Classification documentation. reports prepared by third party consultants, conduct HSE Audits. Provide technical support to Project Head during selection of external consultant

for risk assessment studies like FEHA, QRA, and FMEA.

6. Technical understanding of safety and risk engineering aspects in Layout studies, HAZID, HAZOP, Concept Safety Studies, HSE verification studies,

Gas and gas-liquids processing associated hazards / risks, etc.,

7. Review and implementing Project HSE Plans, Philosophies Conducting project HSE reviews, audits, Review codes, standards, and international

laws.Review contract requirements for project execution, organize the preparation of the Technical Document Register, and identify requirements

and scope of work

Design and Execution Coordinator : ( ULSAN Offshore Yard )

1. Able to support all HSE Activities / Initiatives. Observe and monitor for unsafe acts / unsafe conditions and raise observation cards. Will Participate in Behavioral Based Safety (BBS). Fully support and participate in all Injury and Incident Free (IIF) initiatives through reaching out and communicating with Contractors Staff and trades personnel. Compliance with Ethics policies. Adheres to Project Execution Procedures.

2. Having Excellent skills to act as focal point for monitoring and tracking LP scope and progress for the fabrication, MC, load out activities associated with the timely delivery of large and especially module / large fabrication scope.

3. Can Supports Module Delivery Lead, Project Engineers (MDLPE) whom are responsible for the timely delivery of a group of Pre-Assembled Modules (PAUs) inclusive of FP structural fabrication and assembly, Piping fabrication and installation, FD&P equipment placement and mechanical outfitting, Electrical and Instrumentation installation as per standards.
