1. Organization : IL&FS Tamilnadu Power Corporation Ltd (2 x 600 MW Thermal Power Plant) Key Area : BTG.

Duration : From 31th May -2017 to till date.

Role : Senior Engineer - Mechanical.

2. Organization : Coastal Energen Pvt.Ltd- Tuticorin. (2 x 600 MW Thermal Power Plant) Key Area : BTG.

Duration : From 9th May -2014 to 22th April - 2017. Role : Assistant Engineer - Mechanical.

PROFILE SYNOPSIS:

Operation and maintenance of 600MW sub critical Thermal power plant.

Proficient to coordinate for planned shutdowns, unplanned outages for taking back in operation within target time.

Competent to take decisions for operation related issues on real time basis without jeopardizing plant safety.

To conduct performance & efficiency test for various power plant equipment’s.

Ensure safe isolation of equipment's and safety of workmen and equipment before start of maintenance work.

Identifying and attending to defects in order to avoid breakdown and un-safe conditions to reduce repeatability of defects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Commissioning:

Involved in Steam blowing program for BTG piping.

Involved in Boiler commissioning activities of draft system, Bowl mill system, soot blowers, scanner air fans, Ldo & Hfo guns.

Involved in Turbine Lubrication Oil, Seal Oil & EH oil, Stator Water System, Gland sealing system,compressors, Aux and extraction system Commissioning activities.

Conducted clean air flow test in boiler.

Involved in Turbine Commissioning Activities such as over speed Test, Valve Seal Test, and Oil Injection Test.

Reviewing P&ID of the turbine and its auxiliaries system.

Evaluating and Documentation of commissioning activities. Operation and maintenance:

Involved in desk operation for Unit Startup & Shut down Activities.

Continuous monitoring of equipment parameters and process parameters.

Reviewing and recording process trends and interpreting the abnormalities.

Issuing Permit to Work, performing system isolation for maintenance activities.

Recording daily process parameter log sheet, work permits, protocols and test records.

Involved in maintenance activities of boiler such as water washing, coils inspection, soot blowers, burner inspection, and bowl mill system.

Involved in Preventive maintenance of Turbine and its Auxiliaries such as Turbine driven boiler feed pumps, Condensate extraction pumps, vacuum pumps, High& Low pressure heaters, Heat exchangers, compressors.

Breakdown maintenance such as Turbine blades and its bearings inspection, last stage blade inspection, Generator Air tightness test, Deaerator and Hot well inspection, condenser flood test, vacuum test, Generator stator and rotor inspection.

Preparation of maintenance/overhauling job schedule to keep all the equipment safe and healthy condition.

Issuing Permit to Work, performing system isolation for maintenance activities using SAP. TRAINING:

1. Familiarization of Thermal Power Plant:

Conducted at : NEYVELI LIGNITE CORPORATION (7 x 210 MW) Exposure: Systematic operation of individual equipment and it uses Schematic flow of Water-Steam cycle, Coal- Ash cycle and Air-Flue gas cycle, Preventive maintenance of equipments. 2. Simulator Training:

Conducted at: NATIONAL POWER TRAINING INSTITUTE - NAGPUR. Exposure: Unit Startups and Shut down.
