This was my first job in which customer interaction was essential. I work on the sales floor, on the cash registers, and I stock the shelves. I work opening shifts, closing shifts, and I assist customers that don’t know where things are. I love working shipment shifts, and I love organizing the store for closing, as well as running the cash registers.

While working at Burger King, I initially began as a cashier, I began on the front counter, and eventually moved on to the drive through. While working here, the COVID-19 pandemic began, and we had to adhere to strict guidelines, we were sure to wear gloves, masks, and sanitize everything. Eventually after mastering the cash registers, I moved on to the grills, where I operated fryers, broilers, and made sandwiches. Similar to McDonald’s I had to cooperate with my coworkers and work together to get food out in a timely manner. This job was my first one in which I had to interact with customers. I worked the grill here, where I learned how to make classic McDonald’s foods, and often multitasked while working under pressure. I ran the fryers, the grills, and I assembled sandwiches, all in a fast manner. I had to cooperate with other crew members and find ways to divide work among us in a way to remain fast and effective.
