In 2018 I went to Gulfport MS to relocate and start in the same position, and we lost the contract 3 months later and I came back to AL and have currently been the regional safety manager for all 3 sites ever since then. Over the past few years it’s been a toxic atmosphere and the new project manager is not wanting to report all injuries and I’m tired of all the stress that comes along with this and I’m seeking new opportunities. Responsible for the safety and well being of all Day & Zimmermann employees working on the project, Primary responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting weekly safety meetings

Performing daily audits and site inspections

Entering results into weekly report format and identifying trends

Manage all incidents and injuries including case management, incident investigation, and entry into computer based database.

Organizing teamed tripartite observations / walk-downs with craft supervision and client

Conducting company developed employee behavior observations & managed data entry

Coaching employees on unsafe behaviors observed.

Inventory and ordering of all specialized safety equipment and PPE.

Conducting new hire orientations and pre-employment drug screenings

Scaffold and fall protection training and inspections
