Projects :

BRITISH PETROLEUM BERAU LTD: EPCC for TANGGUH EXPANSION PROJECT, Natural Gas Liquefaction in Bintuni Bay, Papua, Indonesia.

The facility includes associated onshore infrastructure, two offshore platforms, pipelines and twelve wells. These facilities are the Trains 1 and 2 developments at Tangguh.

Tangguh Expansion Project to commercialize the incremental resource into high margin gas markets based on a single LNG (liquefied natural gas) train expansion (Train 3).

Tangguh Expansion Project consist of new offshore facilities, including wellhead platforms and pipelines, and onshore development on the existing Tangguh brownfield site. The new onshore facilities will include one additional natural gas liquefaction train of a similar design and capacity to the existing trains, an onshore receiving facility (ORF), new LNG and condensate loading berth, additional boil off gas (BOG) recovery, utilities, flares and the infrastructure to support logistics and the associated increase in the temporary and permanent workforce.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Project Director

- To direct, control and co-ordinate the execution of projects, under the leadership of the Senior Project Manager, involving technology equipment, engineering and services to achieve project completion on time, within budget and at the required levels of quality taking into account safety and reliability.

- To assist the Senior Project Manager in providing project input, in the areas of scope definition and preparation of engineering data, for the preparation of customer bids/proposals.

Responsibilities will include:

Being the overall project lead for the engineering and construction work performed by the assigned Contractor. This will generally involve:

-Linking the office Project Engineering design role with the field construction activities

-Solving technical problems and ensuring the resolution of Technical Queries in a timely manner

-Solving missing material issues

-Anticipating issues before they occur. Having a strong grasp of the manpower and skill requirements of the GC and ensuring that these are available.

-Coordinating the construction management to deliver the work on budget and schedule.

-Maintain an open and effective communication channel with Construction Management and with the Site Project Manager

-Represent the Company in meetings with the Client, interfacing EPC’s, sub-contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders. Lead meetings and record minutes of meetings as required.

-Manage the Client at the Site as necessary

-Support the interests of the Site Project Manager and the Overall Senior Project Manager at the site, in relation to safety, security, cost optimization and management, and schedule control

-Support and promote the implementation of the Project Safety, Security and Quality plans

-Support and promote the implementation of the Project Execution Plan

-Provide strong leadership and coordination to ensure working effectively to achieve the project KPI’s. Identify and address risks and issues, escalating to the Site Project Manager and Senior Project Manager as required

-Provide leadership to ensure prompt prioritization and coordination of all unforeseen issues at the site, escalating to the Site Project Manager and Project Director as required. Provide cross-functional coordination on site, with external stakeholders, and with the offshore team as required.

-Manage all expenditures at the site in accordance with Company and Project Procedures, and Delegation of Authority

-Manage time capture and approvals for all reimbursable supervision team resources

Pulp & Paper Projects: To increase the consistency to the range of 15% to 25%, vacuum systems, such as suction boxes or suction rolls, are usually used. The creping process to produce tissue products with higher bulk, absorbency, softness, and stretch.
