Summary

I have 19 years (including 9 Years on various Saudi Aramco Projects) of experience in Piping Design, Engineering and Construction Supports which involves FEED and Detailed design of Refinery, Petrochemical, Power and Oil & Gas plants. I worked for various engineering, procurement and commissioning firms like SNC-Lavalin KSA, Berkeley Engineering Consultancy KSA, Mustang-HDP KSA, Petrofac KSA, Samsung Engg KSA, Citec India Pvt. Ltd, Structchem Engg Consultancy, etc.

Currently I am working with SNC-Lavalin Al Fayaz Engineering (SLFE) as a Sr. Piping Engineer to support M R Al Khatalan’s (Local LSTK) for Detail Engineering Design, Procurement & Construction Support of Relocation of Abha-Jazan Refined Product Pipeline with Expansion of Jazan & Abha Bulk Plant Project Since 2019 to till date. I had involved in Site Verification, Feasibility study of Existing Jazan Tankfarm & Abha Bulk Plant Existing Facilities, Procurement & Construction Support for above Project in coordination with LSTK & Saudi Aramco.

In Berkeley Engineering, since from proposal I had the single point responsibility for the Design Development, Feasibility Study and Construction Supports for Different feeds to Farabi Yanbu Petrochemical Company (FYPC) from Varies Saudi Aramco Organization like Yanbu Refinery, SAMREF & YASREF. I had involved in coordination with FYPC, Saudi Aramco, and HK Alsadiq Sons Construction Contractor for various technical issues from project proposal phase to project handover. For this project, I was the Lead Engineer from Mechanical & Piping side and involves in various design review meeting (30%, 60%, HAZOP, 90% & IFC) with FYPC, Saudi Aramco & Construction Contractor held during project execution phase.

Throughout the years, I have gained a valuable experience in Engineering, Design & Construction activities based on Technical FEED / ITB Documents, Client Standards, Procedures & Specifications and Field information. Preparation of Piping Specification, Calculations, TQs, MR, TBE and Piping Drawings. Review of NMR, Vendor Documents, P&ID, Hook-ups & IDC. Checking of Piping Deliverable as per QMS. Preparation of Spool Drawing for Shop Fabrication, Tie-in Package and Hydrotest Package based on IFC deliverables. Supervision & Progress Monitoring for Construction Contractor works. Participation of Safety Training, Lesson-Learn Sessions, Constructability Workshop, Weekly Progress Meeting, Design Reviews & Inspection Activities.

The purpose of this project is to efficiently meet the Kingdom’s refined products demand in Jazan Province through the Expansion of Jazan Tankfarm, Bulk Plant and Relocation of Jazan Abha Refined Product Pipeline and Upgradation of Abha Bulk Plant

FEED Verification & Detail Design of DPK Tanks, Loading Transfer Pumps Station for PG-91, PG-95, DPK and ULSD Services for Jazan Bulk Plant. Booster & Shipper Pump Station Design for Jazan-Abha Pipeline Projects along with Upgradation of Abha Bulk Plant Facilities by using SP3D Design software. Field Survey, Procurement and Construction Support to EPC Contractor to fulfill successful completion of Project within stipulated Schedule.
