Over twenty-five years of meritorious service to the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited,

(a Royal Dutch Shell Company), with roles and experiences spanning land transportation fleet management, planning, and contracting and procurement services for major facilities projects, hydrocarbon exploration, well engineering, production assets, pipeline systems, and general goods as outlined below.

• Personal Business Development/Doctoral Study (January 2019 to date) Currently developing a personal startup business – Faemonda Limited with interests in Agro business, logistics, and catering services. Completing Doctor of Business Administration Study at Walden University, USA with research interest in local content development. Participated in Academy of Management International Conference at Boston MA, USA in August 2019.

• Project Contracting and Procurement Lead, Assa North/Ohaji South Project (April 2012 to Dec 2018) Successfully led a team of 4 contracting and procurement specialists that delivered commercial awards for 8 contract packages for Assa North/Ohaji South Project, a 600million scf/day gas development project in Imo State, Nigeria.

Managed an agile contracting and procurement strategy/tactics development and pre-award processes to drastically eliminate costs and crash schedule to compete with low-cost indigenous operators. This involved a series of value improvement processes and developing an alternative contracting & procurement approach based on the “EP + C” contract model and Convertible Lumpsum Construction contract model for the Primary Treatment Facility Scope, leading to reduction of overall project cost headline from previous estimate of $1.6bln to target cost of $1bln with projected cost savings of $600mln.

• Contracting & Procurement Consultant, Gbaran Ubie Integrated Oil & Gas Project (Jan 2009 to March 2012)

Carried out post award contract management for 3 mega project EPC contracts for the 1billion scf/day Gbaran Ubie Project Phase 1 (comprising Field Logistics Base, Pipelines, and Shore Protection) and saved over $40mln through negotiation of requests for variation orders and claims made by contractors.

• Contracts Management Specialist (July 2008 - Dec 2008) Provided 6 months contracting and procurement consultancy to Pecten Cameroon Company LLC, Douala, Cameroon resulting in swift completion and contracts award for previously stalled tenders; trained contract holders on pre/post contract management; overhauled the post award contract management process including introduction of monthly contract management reviews; and developed asset disposal procedure to streamline disposal of company assets, ensure transparency, and maximize residual value.

• Contracts Resource Lead (Nov 2007 - June 2008)

Led a team of 11 Contracts Specialists located in Port Harcourt and Warri responsible for tendering and post award contract management of contracts for Exploration, Well Engineering, and Facilities Management departments of SPDC, with an annual spend of circa $500mln. Developed and deployed alternative contracting strategy that significantly reduced drilling waste management costs by changing contract pricing structure from long established unit rates for equipment to unit rates for drilling wastes processed.

• SCM Wells Services Lead (Jan 2005 - Oct 2007)

Led a team of 4 Category Managers responsible for tendering and post award contract management for Well Engineering categories comprising Wells Completions, Wells Maintenance, Supply of Wellhead Systems, Fishing/Milling/Well Control, and Drilling Waste Management with annual spend of $200mln. Coordinated Business Performance Reviews for major Well Engineering contracts with Schlumberger and Halliburton covering Nigeria, Gabon, and Cameroun during which senior leaders made commitments to improve performances and build relationships.

• Team Leader Production Field Projects Procurement (July 2003 - Dec 2004) Led a team of 6 Buyers responsible for procurement of engineering materials for Production Asset Function with annual spend of $300mln. Influenced the project teams to identify requirements early allowing enough sourcing time resulting in significant improvement in on time delivery of project materials.

• Team Leader Pipelines Contracting (Jan 2003 - June 2003) Led a team of 4 Contract Engineers responsible for tendering and post award management of contracts for pipelines construction, repairs, intelligent and routine pigging, de-sanding, spill containment and clean-up with annul spend of $800mln.

• Senior Stock Analyst/Buyer (Aug 2001 - Dec 2002) Carried out procurement of crude oil delivery pumps, compressors, turbines, heavy trucks, and spare parts in support of hydrocarbon production operations. Negotiated price agreements with local agents of various original equipment manufacturers including Alstom Turbine, Solar Turbines, and National Oilwell. Achieved over $1.8mln cost savings for procurement of National Oil well pumps through direct procurement from OEM using Letter of Credit (LC).

• Senior Technical Buyer, Projects (Aug 1999 - Aug 2001) Carried out procurement of engineering materials for new hydrocarbon production facilities and upgrade projects for both onshore and shallow offshore locations, including emergency fire emergency response infrastructure for an export terminal sourced from various manufacturers in Europe.

• Technical Buyer, Projects (July 1998 - Aug 1999) Carried out procurement of engineering materials for production facilities upgrades projects. This included managing interfaces with various equipment suppliers and Systems Integrator located in Europe and America to ensure delivery of fully integrated equipment sourced from multiple manufacturers.

• Senior Customer Services Supervisor (Oct 1997 - July 1998) Worked with various departments and buying team to perform value analysis, standardize demands, and develop service level agreements to improve customer satisfaction. Also carried out customer satisfaction surveys and managed improvement plans.

• Procedures Analyst (Feb 1995 – Oct 1997)

Managed development and revision of business procedures and job aids for Procurement and Logistics operations, trained staff in procedure writing, and conducted procedures and business process compliance audits.
