Teach students to read and write rhetorically—with a critical and open-minded awareness of the techniques used by other skilled writers. Employ a rhetorically driven approach to make students develop variations in essay structure. Use the Socratic approach, to hone their skills in writing college papers. Develop their ability for clarity and precision, proofreading skills, critical understanding of what makes for strong, compelling arguments in writing academic papers.
