01/07/2008 to 30/06/2009 completed a year of internship, during this time I have worked in various departments including Medicine, Pediatric, Gynecology & obstetric, and Radiology.

2012-2014, I have worked in Dept. of General Surgery at Althora-teaching Hospital-Libya as a resident in general surgery department with special interest in pediatric surgery. My responsibilities include ward and classroom teaching of MBBS students and nursing students along with patient care including OPD, performing minor surgeries, and assisting in major elective and emergency surgeries in adults and pediatrics.

2015-2017, completed a master degree in general and pediatric surgery from Faculty of Medicine Kasr Al-Ainy Cairo University. I started my residency program at Kasr Al-Ainy teaching hospital, which is a research and teaching governmental hospital serving a huge number of populations from all over Egypt and the neighboring countries.

I have worked as a resident in various general surgery departments, including elective surgery departments, during this time I was responsible for preparing patients for elective minor and major surgeries, postoperative follow up and OPD. I performed and assisted in several surgical operations in general, hepatobiliary, bariatric, breast and laparoscopic surgeries. In addition, a nine-month rotation in Trauma and Emergency department, during this rotation my duties include receiving critically ill surgical patients including acute abdomen e.g. perforated viscus due to malignancy and inflammatory conditions, trauma and burn patients. I take the responsibilities of preparing cases for urgent surgical interventions, performing operations with and without supervision. Moreover, postoperative follow up of critically ill surgical patients in the surgical ICU also was among my duties, and it was the most interesting duties to start my day with, as seeing my patients improving and gaining strength physically and mentally is very rewarding and satisfactory. Then, I have started training at Abul-Reesh Mounira Children's Teaching Hospital as a resident in pediatric surgery for about fifteen months, during this period I have exposed to a wide range of pediatric surgery subspecialties, such as plastic pediatric surgery, neonatal surgery and colorectal pediatric surgery. I have done minor pediatric surgical procedures such as hernias, undescended testes and circumcisions. In addition, I assisted in major surgeries in colorectal, plastic and thoracic surgery. At present time, I work at Omar-Almukhtar general hospital; I operate on pediatric and adult patients for the last two years. I have done several open hernia repair in adults as well as hernitomy and orchiopexy in children. Other clinical responsibilities include running OPD, managing ward, and assisting consultants.

I have worked extensively in diabetic foot management with emphasis on limb preservation, including regular debridement, ray amputations. IV- Research experience / Presentation:

2010-2011 Conducted a research in colorectal cancer in the University of Sheffield-UK [Identification of Potential Molecular Effectors in Colorectal Cancer].

During this full-time-one-year master degree in the University of Sheffield, I learned the principal of biomedical research, writing a critical review, molecular and cellular basis of diseases and I was working with a research team interested in colorectal cancer pathogenesis.

2016 conducted a clinical research at Cairo University (A Randomized Controlled Study Comparing Outcomes Following Transanal Swenson and Soave Techniques in Treatment of Hirschsprung's Disease). It is a prospective study, which takes one year from the time of operation and follow up of the patients and data collection by frequent examinations and questionnaires.

2017 made a presentation with the title of [A Randomized Controlled Study Comparing Outcomes Following Transanal Swenson and Soave Techniques in Treatment of Hirschsprung's Disease] in the 32rd Egyptian Pediatric Surgical association (EPSA) conference.

2017 Colorectal surgery workshop of 32nd Congress of the Egyptian Pediatric Surgical association from 3rd to 5th Dec 2017 in Cairo University Pediatric Hospital, Cairo, Egypt.

2017 attendance and active participation in the 17th CLEFT COURSE

(Cairo Cleft Course Basic Cleft Palate).

2018 attendance and active participation in Laparoscopic Hernia Repair in Children at Abou-Rish Hospital.

2016 attendance and active participation in 1st IPEG ME Chapter Annual Meeting and 31st Congress of the Egyptian Pediatric Surgical Association (EPSA).
