RE: David Koster
My name is David Michael Koster. I have been employed at Greys hospital since 2007 as a Data capturer and general administrative support services officer. I have worked in numerous departments since being employed at Greys Hospital I am very hard working and regard myself as a team player. I am a highly enthusiastic worker that is open to continuous learning as I do solemnly believe that knowledge is power. I believe that I can be a diligent, co-operative and highly competent member of any team or organization. Due to knowledge that I have attained in previous work experience in terms of client care and teamwork I have been able to handle conflict situations in a highly professional manner to ensure excellent staff/client relationships. I am highly computer literate and enjoy working hard to achieve deadlines and excellent results. I am fully proficient in Microsoft office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2016 Windows XP Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 10, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft SharePoint, DHIS and Tier. I have built a few very simple but effective databases that have been used at Greys Hospital using Excel, One of which is a highly comprehensive Mortuary register dating back to 2015, which has been used to calculate admission to death ratio, Monthly mortality rate, and Post op Mortality rate amongst other things. I have also had the pleasure of working within the department of Anaesthesia and critical care for 7 months and being tasked with assisting to build and manage an electronic leave system, this system is currently up and running meaning that Mo’s, registrars and Specialists within the department of Anaesthesia no longer need to hand in leave forms physically because of tight working schedules but can send them electronically at any convenient time. How this system was built was by creating a SharePoint workspace and linking it to Microsoft one drive and allowing Admin Mo’s as well as HODs to view and approve or decline leave forms electronically and also update current leave rosters, thereafter these forms once complete are printed and sent to HR, a part of this system is also the compilation of monthly leave reconciliation reports for HR which can be completed easily at the click of a button. I have also compiled monthly reports on PowerPoint to present to hospital management with monthly data indicators such as expenditure per patient day equivalent, admissions, discharges, inpatient deaths, current usable beds, average length of stay, to name a few. I am most definitely willing and able to learn more. I would sincerely appreciate an opportunity to join your institution. Yours Faithfully
