Summary

I have reasonable experience in the research and development of functional polymer materials for renewable energy and energy conversion spplications. In particular, ion conducting polymer electrolyte membranes. I got experience during my PhD and postdoctoral research in several projects using air sensitive Ulmann coupling polymerization, free radical radiation grafted polymerization or acid catalyzed and metal free polymerization to prepare highly conductive mechanically robust and durable polymer membranes. I also got experience in modification of synthetic materials such as ETFE, HDPE and LDPE films using Gamma rays radiation grafting process to obtain functional conductive membranes.I also have reasonable experience in electrode binder preparation, membrane electrode assembly and fuel cell testing and evaluation. I am open for creating functional materials for any desired applications.
