Special Staff Officer under the cognizance of the Assistant Chief of Staff, G-1, U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Eastern Recruiting Region (ERR) Forces Central Command, responsible for the overall administration and welfare of the Recruit Personnel Administration Center (RAC). Managed strategic planning as well as directing, coordinating and evaluating the RAC management program which includes assignment of officers, enlisted and civilian employees and advising the Chief of Staff, Manpower and the Assistant Chief of Staff (AC/S), G-1, on current programs, trends and anticipated future developments. At the same time recommending courses of action for all related personnel administrative support for recruit initiatives to include the implementation of female recruit transfers to the West Coast and the permanent retirement policy change from the previous legacy system. Exercised staff cognizance over the RAC’s priorities, information management, and ensured completion of a great number of diverse projects, involving multiple work centers and various types of administrative support to Marines, Sailors and their families.
