I hereby wish to apply for an opportunity to work at your organisation. I completed my Btech in Civil Engineering at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2019. I have 4 years of working experience in the Civil Engineering field. I however worked as an intern at Golder Associates Africa Pty Ltd for a year, during my year at Golder Associates I gained experience on programmes such as Solid-works, Auto-Cad and Arc-GIS, I was mainly responsible for drafting and basic design calculations on Water reticulation systems and upgrades to Waste Water Treatment Works. I am currently employed at Neil Lyners and Associates (RF) (PTY) Ltd. I started with them in August 2016 as an assistant resident engineer. My work entailed the overseeing of contractors and the construction of services in accordance approved designs and standards. This included the laying out of roads, stormwater infrastructure, water reticulation networks, sewerage systems etc, during this time i learned how to deal with contractors and perform various commissioning test and client liaison. In April 2017 I moved into the design office where my duties were assisting with drafting tender documentation, design reports, cost estimation, bill of quantities, completion of payment certificates and design input into various projects. Recently started gaining design experience on civil services. My duties at Lyners also includes site supervision and client liaison on site matters. I have also been assigned as resident engineer on the following projects:

• CTICC – Desalination Project

• Drakenstein Municipality – Informal Settlement Basic services upgrading

• Richmond Park Development (Assistant RE)
