Title: Isolation of Pheromones from Dysdercus cingulatus (Fabricius, 1775): a major pest of agricultural crops

Location: Entomology laboratory, The Maharaja Sayajirao, University of Baroda.

Project summary: Red cotton bugs collected from agriculture fields of Baroda. Pheromone was extracted from female red cotton bug by Adsorbent method. Pheromone was fractionated by using GC-MS and concludes that Sex and alarm pheromone presence in this bug.
