Education
Master of engineering in Embedded Systems (Credentials Evaluated) August 2015 to May 2017
G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology, Vidhya Nagar, India
Final year project name: FPGA based real time control of a robotic arm based on gesture recognition
Details:
Gesture based control of a robotic arm application with the algorithm used to recognize gesture like HMM, SVM, Kalman filter and so forth. Additionally, extraordinary platform and a tool Quartus II software program are used to understand the gestures. Specific gesture positions are used to provide input like a hand, face, arm, chest and so forth. To understand gesture and to assign exceptional functionality to the pre-defined gesture role, the controller is used that is field programmable gate array (FPGA). To take the input gesture we attach OV7670 CMOS camera chip with FPGA board.
The main challenge to recognize gestures involves handling a number of signals, a degree of freedom (DOF), and a variety of gesture speed. Moreover, it needs also to balance the accuracy-performance-usefulness trade-off consisting with the sort of application, the cost of the solution and several other criterions such as real-time performance, robustness, scalability and user independence.
Bachelor of engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering (Credentials Evaluated) August 2011 to May 2015
Madhuben and Bhanubhai Patel Women Institute of Engineering, India
Final Year Project Name: Solar Smart LED Street Lighting System using C/C++ language
Details:
This project is based on Embedded System in which we used LPC800 board with the ARM Cortex M0+ processor. The programming of the system was performed using LPCXpresso software. LPC (programming language) is an object-oriented programming language derived from C. LPC is strongly influenced by C and C++ and its syntax falls under the broader C-like language umbrella.
Special features of this project are low power consumption, long life of LEDs, less maintenance & use of renewable energy source. We implemented the concept of MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) using LPC which increases the overall efficiency of the system by operating at MPP.
Computer Skills
Programming language- C, C++, VHDL, Verilog, OOPL, SQL, Java, VB.net
EDL tools- LABVIEW, Quartus II, Matlab, Keil, VMware, Protel, Proteus, Visual Studio, SSMS, AutoCAD
MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point Presentation, Linux
