I have secured an associates degree in psychology, as well as taken many classes in addiction counseling. I have already completed 118 credits, and I am one class away from a bachelors in psychology. College credits include: pre-nursing, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, chemistry and several psychology classes. In addition, I have an education in addiction counseling, weight loss and behavioral change. As you can see with my experience and education, I am ambitious and commitment to health and wellness. I am currently the clinic director of this wellness clinic that specializes in red light therapy. My current duties include: seeing all the new clients and getting them started on our program. This includes: explaining and informing the client of the details of the program, checking body composition and measurements and discussing the results with them, educating clients about weight loss and diet planning. Lastly, making a meal planning guide for the client and exercise program. With this position, I also sell the program to the clients and I feel very comfortable doing so. This position also includes a supervisor roll, overseeing 10 employees, making schedules, handling employees issues/complaints and overseeing the flow of the clinic each day. Other clinic duties include, checking clients in, scheduling appointments and preforming their treatments.

While working at this very busy podiatry practice, which included 10 offices, I worked with one of the busiest physicians at the practice. Daily duties included: collecting medical histories, obtaining vital signs, handling wound care and assisting with procedures. Many clinic skills were used while I work with this company, including collecting weight, BP and pulse, drawling up medications, sizing for boots, preforming the sanding of the feet and filing of the nails, taking rays of the feet, and casting for orthotics. I was also responsible for the set up and assisting of the procedure. As always, administrative skills were used during my employment with this company. Lastly, scribing for the doctors was also included in this position.

In addition, I took some wellness classes including personal training, health coaching, behavioral change and also addiction counseling.
