o Providing high quality medical care and monitoring to all decompensated chronic liver disease patients and post Liver Transplant recipients admitted to the ICU o Physically examining patients, taking history, evaluating laboratory parameters and images to obtain additional necessary information. o Prescribing appropriate pharmacotherapies, intravenous fluids, nutrition and specialized treatments according to the requirements of post liver transplant and cirrhotic patients.

o Performing procedures like endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, vascular access, monitoring, bronchoscopy, paracentesis, thoracentesis, o Documenting patient’s conditions, severity scorings and delirium scores after admission to ICU and subsequently during daily rounds. o Responding immediately to cardiopulmonary arrest calls and providing high quality CPR to the patients.

o Organizing and participating in educational programmes like seminars, case discussions and audits in the department.
